To travel freely from one country to another, several pieces are important. One of them is the visa. Existing in classic and electronic form, it is a centerpiece when traveling to a country like Burma. However, do you know the procedure for obtaining this document and its validity? Here is everything you need to know about the Visa and e-Visa for Myanmar.
How to obtain your e-Visa for Burma?
The simplest and most practical solution to travel to Burma is to apply for an electronic Visa. Available since 2014, the Electronic Visa for Burma is accessible to all nationals of eligible countries. More than fifty countries are eligible, including France, Italy and Canada.
To apply for an e-Visa for this country, you have two options. The first is to go to the official website of the Ministry of Immigration of Burma. Once on this site, you will need, among other things, your passport (which must still be valid for six months after your arrival in Burma), an identity photo and proof of your hotel reservation in Burma . Once the form is completed, you will need to confirm the request with payment. A response will be given by email within three days. In the event that your request is not responded to favorably, the amount paid will be refunded to you.
Since this first step can be tiring for travelers, there is a second option. This involves making your request through the services of a private company which takes care of the entire procedure until you obtain your electronic visa for Burma.
How valid is the e-Visa for Burma?
